My first steps into the world of Beauty Vloggers(Part 1)
Ok so after watching beauty videos for what seems like years and years ive recently started (around 2 months ago now) Making youtube beauty videos.
I was so nervous. And excited all at the same time. I sat down in our spare room which was only half decorated at the time with my camera only a foot away from my face propped up on a pile of books, in the hope that the camera angle would be kind.
I was that nervous in fact that every few minutes i had to stop what i was talking about while filming to take a sip of water, just to prevent that lump in your throat feeling and to try temporarily take my mind off the fact that soon enough i would be on the internet. Not only that but on youtube the biggest growing community video based internet website. Used by everyone i know… even my grandparents!!
I eventually got up the nerve to set my video to public after about a week of worrying and having it set to private. I think my first ever video was a Lush Haul video, And i’d used Lush products due to my already existant love for their products.
I refreshed the page a 100 times or more hoping that someone had watched my first ever video only to give up after about half an hour realising that actually the only views i would be getting would be my own which didnt count at all.
And i realised that although i love feeling part of the beauty guru watching community that actually to be on the other side of things. Especially when your just starting out and your not sure how people are going to react in completly and mind bogglingly nerve wracking. I realised that even though i had felt part of this amazing community before that now i felt very much alone in this next step i was taking. (Part 1)
